Yes. Posts support sliders but slider is not available for pages.

1. Go to `Posts > Add New`
2. Give the Title to your post say “Slider Post”
3. Click `Add Media` and `Upload Files` (Upload your slider images here)
4. After Uploading the slider pictures, Close the Media Dialog. (No need to Insert into post)
5. Select `Gallery` from `Format` meta box. (Below the Publish Metabox)
6. Select `Flex Slider` or `Nivo Slider` from `Post Settings` meta box. (Below the Editor)
7. Publish your Post
