How To Install / Upgrade DesignOrbital WordPress Theme

Here is a simple tutorial to install OR upgrade the DesignOrbital WordPress theme,

Download Your Purchased Theme

• Download the latest version of your purchased theme from the members area
• Theme will be in ZIP format and is ready to upload via WordPress Admin panel.

Fresh Installation of DesignOrbital Theme From WordPress Admin Panel

• Go to Appearance > Themes > Install Themes > Upload
• Choose File (Downloaded ZIP File) > Install Now
• Activate your theme

Upgrading DesignOrbital Theme From WordPress Admin Panel

• Go to Appearance > Themes
• Activate Twenty Thirteen or (Twenty Twelve, Twenty Eleven) theme temporarily.
• Delete the existing DesignOrbital theme, you wish to upgrade.
• Go to Appearance > Themes > Install Themes > Upload
• Choose File (Downloaded ZIP File) > Install Now
• Activate your theme

If you are comfortable to use FTP client,

Unzip Your Purchased Theme

• Your downloaded purchased theme will be in ZIP format
• UnZip your purchased theme.
• Now your purchased theme is a folder and all files are in that folder.

Fresh Installation of DesignOrbital Theme Using FTP Client

• Connect your hosting account using any FTP client
• Upload your purchased folder to the wp-content/themes folder
• Go to Appearance > Themes
• Activate your theme

Upgrading DesignOrbital Theme Using FTP Client

• Connect your hosting account using any FTP client
• Upload your purchased folder to the wp-content/themes folder (overwrite the complete folder)

Optional Step

• Go to Appearance > {theme}-options > Save Changes
