and thank you again. But that is exactly what i ment in my first post. If i use my images in the content with 750px width (adjusted with photoshop), they look worse than images with for example 1200px width.

So i guess that the Anemone-adjust-to-750px-function works better than the photoshop-adjust-to-750px. And that sounds a bit strange to me. And i hoped you can explain, why this happens in my case. And if there is an optimum width for images in the content. Maybe 1200px or more – even if the resulting width is just 750px.

thank you for your answer! But what about the images in the content? Because i use a lot of images, it is difficult for me to use all the images in the content in a very high resolution because the file size becomes to big. So it would really help me to know the least optimal resolution for images in the content.
