Contango theme will truncate string automatically after 55 characters. Now it means,
– Your post content is not meeting the 55 characters and it is not able to show Read More link.
Solutions:
– You may use Excerpt box in the Post Edit screen so it will no need to meet 55 characters.
OR
– You may use Content mode and will need to use more tag to break the content.
Future:
– We have also submitted suggestions to the developers to avoid this 55 limit, Let hope it will consider in the incoming version.
