Can I use the Project Page as my Blog?

Is it possible to use the Portfolio Page Template for my blog instead of my home page? If so, can you explain how to set that up?

I’ve tried creating a new “blog” page that uses the “Portfolio Page Template” and then I’ve selected the new blog page to be my “Posts”. But it doesn’t work. Am I missing something?

Yes, it is possible. You can or can’t set the Static Front Page for your blog

Please follow the simple steps.

– Go to `Settings > Reading`
– Make sure “Front page displays” checked as “Your latest posts”
– Save Changes

Now, your home page is your blog posts. and for the Portfolio Page please follow the simple steps,

– Create or Edit a page, and assign it to the Portfolio Page Template from the Page Attributes module:
– Publish the page
– Now you can place the link of your Portfolio Page in the menu via `Appearance > Menus`
