Hello,
I’m really happy with Dicot it’s a very good and dynamic theme. But something odd happened, I logged out the blog two days ago after publishing an article and when I logged in today the size of the images of the Carousel was different, they weren’t squares, they were small rectangles…
Because the blog is in the beginning and I am still building it I erased the articled and uploaded some just for tests… the images in the carousel have different sizes…
It worked well before. I don’t know what happened.
Can you help?
Thanks for reading the message.

Can i see your blog. So, i will be able to see it in action.
I will guide you after observing it first.Quick Tip: Make sure you are uploading big images, e.g. more than 800px width. So, Dicot will crop them accordingly.
Thanks

Thank you for the quick answer, I will check if that’s the problem and let you know.
But it was working well before with the images I had, and they’re all big. Still, something might have escapedThank you,
Keep up the good workDecember 4, 2015 at 11:59 am #1673elseri_danielaParticipantHello again,
I checked and the sample posts I uploaded have all big images like 1466×1691, 1920×1080.
I find this very strange because it was working perfectly before…I will leave the link of the blog, so that you can check: http://www.bejapan.me

I think you have activated Photon module of Jetpack. It should work fine with Photon as well.
But at the moment, it seems there is some issue with Photon, Try the following tips.Deactivate Photon Module of Jetpack
Upgrade Jetpack to the latest versionTry to activate Photon after a day or two.
Try to disable other plugins one by one to check possible confliction .PS: We have checked the Photon module at Dicot Demo and it is active at the moment. It is working fine here.
Thanks
December 6, 2015 at 2:44 am #1675elseri_danielaParticipantIt worked!
It’s back to normal, thank you! I would never think of that…
One more think, could you tell me where can I edit the copyright text? I wanted to add the name of the blog and I can’t find it.PS: You have a great support team.

Quote:One more think, could you tell me where can I edit the copyright text?Currently, it is fully automated. It fetches the current year and site title automatically. I have posted the ticket to our development team to give this control to users. They are working on it and will be included in the next update cycle.
Thanks for the feedback.

How do you create this photo gallery and how do you add related photos to the bottom of the page?

December 20, 2015 at 5:41 pm #1679elseri_danielaParticipantThanks,
Is it possible to keep the name of my blog on the copyright section down bellow and have a header image? Without appearing the default tittle? Because I wanted the logo to be the header image but the copyright is important for the content.

Quote:Is it possible to keep the name of my blog on the copyright section down bellowBe default, Site Title attaches with the copyright string. However, you can write your own copyright with the following CSS Code Snippet,
– Make sure you have enabled Jetpack CSS Module
– Go to Appearance > Edit CSS
– Use the following CSS Code Snippet/* Copyright String Modification */
.credits-blog {
display: none;
}.credits:before {
