Contango Posts for Full Width Widgetized Template

Hello,

i am trying to create a Start Page with a Full Width Widgetized Template and a custom Sidebar. I noticed, the Contango widgets differ in Sidebar widgets and non Sidebar widgets. I want to use the “Contango Posts” Widget to show my last posts on that Full Width Widgetized Start Page. But the “Contango Posts” widget is clearly made for a Sidebar. Is there a chance to get a box just like “Contango Callout” to show my last posts? Or am i doing something wrong?

You are correct. Contango Posts widget is for sidebar only and it will not fit in the Full Width Widgetized Areas.

Thanks for the clarification.

Anyway, is there a chance to get a Full Width Widget for the recent posts? I’ve tried to create a custom Widget, but i’m not experienced enough for this. Maybe a shortcode/html code to include in the “Contango Text” Wiedget?
