Font Awesome Icons Not Visible After Upgrade

Today we upgraded to the latest Contango wordpress theme version 5.0
We initially renamed the old theme and activated a temporary theme before uploading to the latest version.
The theme installed with no issues. We renamed the icons from icon-xxx to fa-xxx however when we view the page the the font awesome icons are no longer visible.

Okay found the solution – need to include “fa” in class name e.g
