Thanks for the feedback.
Happy WeekendadminParticipantHello,
Following points will be helpful to you!Hello, I purchased the Prana Pro theme because it looked like it had the options to create a mobile-responsive site and change the font size.
Prana Pro is RESPONSIVE. Prana Pro adjusts itself to the mobile resolutions automatically like,
- It has responsive GRID based on Skeleton Framework
- It stacks the elements horizontally automatically like Header, Sidebar Footer etc
- It controls the image dimensions automatically.
- It controls the major Font sections automatically like Services Widget Font etc
* You may re-size your browser to check the responsiveness of Prana Pro.
Can you tell me if it is possible to create a mobile-responsive site and change the font size with this theme? As i explained earlier that all the major sections are controlled automatically. If you still want to control anything else than you may write your rules in the following CSS file,
- prana/lib/css/media-queries.css
Thanks!
adminParticipantThanks for the feedback!
I am going to write you an email.adminParticipantHello Pnaval,
We have re-tested Prana Pro at Production/Development server. Header is working fine.
Try the following methods!1. Make sure that you are using the latest version of WordPress i.e. 3.5.2
2. Disable all plugins and re-try to upload header.Waiting for your update!
adminParticipantWish you all the best!
and don’t forget to share your site after making necessary changes.
Take CareadminParticipantHi swolke,
Welcome to DesignOrbital community!I would like to have a nearly black background of my page (this part I have managed – or could manage it). But then otherwise I need a bright color for my headlines and texts for to keep them readable …
Prana has “Light” background and all other elements like Text Color, Headings etc are adjusted according to it.
Is this possible, did I perhaps only overlook a button?
You are planning to change the layout of Prana from Light to Dark, so it is not simple with few clicks.
Could you please tell my where exactly I would have to change entries in the style editor?
If you want to play with the stylesheet, than you can get your desired layout by making changes in the relevant sections.
=Skeleton Section
It will help to set the background / text color for the whole body
=Sidebar Section
It will help you to change Sidebar link colors
=Headings Section
It will help you to adjust Headings colors
So the stylesheets of DesignOrbital themes are self-explanatory.
Don’t forget to take backup of style.css before going to edit it.Enjoy!
adminParticipantHi Simon,
Thanks of your feedback!Changing layout will not be easy. DesignOrbital themes are based on Skeleton framework (which is 960 grid based). So simply changes in CSS will not bring the desired result. You have to play with HTML structure which is tightly synchronized with the skeleton framework by considering a number of different factors like responsive layout etc.
Thanks!
July 20, 2013 at 5:06 am in reply to: Assorted problems: Adding Contango Modules & Front Page Formatting #826adminParticipantHello!
Following points will be helpful to you.I’m pretty new to wordpress and am working on a site for my wedding (ben-and-katie.com).
No problem, we will help you in designing your required layout. Read our Tutorials by dedicating some time so your “dedicated time” will really be helpful to play with Contango and our other themes.
Can someone help me figure out how to add media in the same format as the Contango preview pages : http://themes.designorbital.com/contango/services/.
This tutorial will be helpful to you.
http://designorbital.com/community/threads/how-to-create-different-layouts-in-designorbital-themes.23/
You are lucky: This tutorial is also based on Contango and Services module.I’d like to be able to replicate the modules like the ones used on the “about us” page in the demo (text block, icons & image slider.
Replicating the modules in the DesignOrbital themes are very easy. You need to learn one and all other modules are same.
I’ve also done something that makes my front page a list of all pages on the site.
Great start! I will recommend again to give some time to the tutorials by having a cup of coffee
Feel free to post again after spending some time with the modules.
Thanks!adminParticipantHello Simon,
Following points will be helpful to you.I am happy with the sidebar width but want to change all pages main section to be about 15% wider if possible?
Contango is based on Skeleton Framework and it is not easy to make it wider.
Is it also possible to make the boxes in the main and siderbar actually touch and not have the gap?
Every theme has its own design, Choosing Wider layout may have little change in Contango appearance to fit your taste Example: http://themes.designorbital.com/contango/blog/
Try Wide Layout in Appearance > Contango Options > Layout SettingsMost Important
DesignOrbital themes are very easy to customize. You may attain your required changes like Sidebar Without Gap by playing in the relevant sections of style.css
Thanks!
adminParticipantHello!
Customization of Farad is very easy and you may get your desired results by having little CSS changes (style.css) in the relevant sections.
Currently! it is designed to right align that will look professional after the use of 3 or 4 social medias.
Thanks!adminParticipantHello,
Is it possible to change the background color for the footers?
It is not supported via Options Panel. However you may change it in the “style.css” under the Footer section.
How do I change the wording “BLOG” on my “Property Facts” page?
You cannot change the label in the current version however, we are planning to bring all necessary labels in the Options Panel.
Can you recommend a good contact form / subscriptions form that uses Captcha? or reCaptcha?
We are using Contact Form 7 in our DEMOS and at DesignOrbital as well. Following tutorial might be helpful to you,
Take Care
adminParticipantHello,
Congratulation for a nice website based on Farad! You have done a beautiful customization.Works on my mobile but not on my desktop
Please use Standard “Text” Widget ***NOT*** “Farad Text” Widget in the footer.
Where should i use Farad Text Widget?
Farad Text widget can be used at Full Width Widgetized Pages. (as in your example WEALTH)
Where should i use Standard Text Widget?
Standard Text widget can be used in sidebar(s) and footer sidebar(s).
Enjoy!
