    Hi Waresbuy,
Following points will be helpful to you.

Blog Headings at different pages are easily controlled via Farad Options. Please follow the simple steps,

    • Go to Appearance > Farad Options > Blog Settings
    • You will notice the control of Sub-Heading of all pages i.e. Blog, Singular, Archives, Search, 404
    • Go to Appearance > Farad Options > Portfolio Settings
    • You will notice the control of Sub-Heading of all profile pages i.e. Template, Single and Archives

    Thanks!

    Hi locchava,
    Let me explain your points,

I’m trying to set up the slider on the main page,

    1. It’s great, you already know to use Custom Post Type i.e Slider and able to upload slides by using Slides section.
    2. Now, You should setup a Front Page for your blog. Just follow the simple tutorial i.e. http://designorbital.com/community/threads/how-to-create-front-page-in-designorbital-wordpress-themes.20/
    3. Now simply go to Appearance > Widgets and add slider Widget to Front Page and the magic will start. You can follow the simple tutorial about usage of widgets in the sidebars i.e. http://designorbital.com/community/threads/how-to-add-widgets-to-a-sidebar.22/

I’m also wondering what the ‘Client Carousele’ and ‘Services’ are about.

    1. When you are able to use front page settings and slider widget than the usage of other widgets are same.
    2. You may setup unlimited slides, unlimited clients, unlimited services etc via respective custom post types.
    3. Than simply drag your desired widget and drop them in the Front Page sidebar to see them in action.

And can I add my fonts to the list of fonts supported in the theme?

    1. DesignOrbital supports Google Fonts at the moment. We have already integrated all fonts of Google Web Fonts (600+) in the themes and are committed to integrate the future released fonts by Google Web Fonts.
    2. So, you have huge choice of fonts to make your own Typographic Pair i.e. Primary Fonts / Secondary Fonts

    Is there any manual available?

    1. Yes, we are adding basic to pro tutorials for our DesignOrbital community. You may visit the link to read the available tutorials i.e. http://designorbital.com/community/forums/tutorials.8/
    2. We are committed to make it comprehensive with the passage of time by observing the FAQs by our users.

Feel free to ask additional questions.

    Hello Sobrien,
Thanks of your feedback and attachments.

I am observing “Empty Twitter Widget” at the sidebar of Contact page. Please deactivate the Twitter widget and post me the results.

Why should you deactivate the Twitter Widget?

I strongly believe, that execution halts at Twitter Widget and it stops to display the next things like Next Widget, Footer, Footer Tail etc.
    Waiting for your feedback.

    Hi Djnair,
Contango does not support blog with full width at the moment. However we have planned to integrate this option in the incoming version soon.
    Thanks!

    Thanks Sobrien,
Let me try to explain your points,

    Footer Tail Concept:

    1. Footer Tail of Prana Pro contains Social Media Icons and Copyright block. It can easily be enabled/disabled via Appearance > Prana Options > Footer Settings.
    2. Footer Tail is a GLOBAL option which will be appeared site-wide at every place like Home Page, Blog Pages/Posts etc

I’ve been having trouble with having the footer tail appear when I use the default page template as a page option.

It should appear on pages – please make sure that you have enabled the Footer Tail in the Appearance > Parana Options > Footer Settings

It also seems the default page template option is the only way to include a sidebar?

You will notice TWO built-in sidebars in the Prana Pro Appearance > Wedgets

    1. Primary Sidebar

Primary Sidebar is common for both pages and posts.

    2. Page Sidebar

If you wish to display separate sidebar for your pages than you can drag and drop widgets here. Please note,

    1. If Page Sidebar has widgets than it will take control and Page Sidebar widgets will start displaying at pages by overriding the Primary Sidebar
    2. If Page Sidebar has no widgets than your pages will start displaying widgets of Primary Sidebar

Please feel free to ask additional questions.
Enjoy! and thanks for the appreciation of Prana Pro design.

How to assign different sidebars for different pages

    Step 1

Go to Appearance > Contango Options > Sidebar Settings
Add New Sidebar say “Blog” and Save Changes

    Step 2

Go to Pages > Add New

See Sidebar Settings Meta box below the editor
Select Yes to Use Custom Sidebar
Select your newly created sidebar “Blog” from sidebar drop down menu

    Note:

If you are planning to create page with Right Sidebar than Default Template is fine in the Page Attributes Meta box
If you are planning to create full width page than select Full Width Widgetized Template.

    Publish or Update the page

    Step 3

    Go to Appearance > Widgets

You will see your newly created sidebar “Blog” there, Now drag/drop widgets in this sidebar.

Now this sidebar is attached to your Blog page and your Blog page will show widgets from this sidebar.

Feel free to ask additional questions.

    Arjun,

I don’t see the “attach” button, just the “Insert into post”

Yes, there will not be attach button. I mean to say,

    – Click on Add Media Button
    – Upload Files to this post (When you upload any image to the post, they are attached to this post and also available to galley as well)
    – No need to Insert into Post – simply close the Insert Media light box

Now try again and post your results.

    Contango Built-In

Arjun, we always try our best to follow WordPress guidelines in coding. There are several things like shortcodes etc, which have missed to our themes due to “Lock In Effect”

To understand the lock in effect, here is the excellent article by Justin Tadlock

    Arjun,
DesigOrbital Pro themes cannot be upgraded from WordPress Admin Panel as they are not hosted on WordPress. Follow the simple steps,

    – Download Contango 1.2 from your members area
    – Upload to the themes directory by overwriting existing contango folder

    Customization will not be removed.
